TCS Off-Campus Recruitment 2014

As the registration for TCS off-campus recruitment 2014 coming to an end. We have tried to find out the answers of some of the frequently asked questions that students generally has in their mind before they are going to sit for the off-campus recruitment drive .We are able to contact an HR through Training and Placement cell.


All you know that TCS goes for on-campus mass recruitment during each year as its requirement stays high. When its comes to off-campus recruitment , they seem to be less interested about it. So, our first question to the HR was “What is the requirement that TCS is going to fulfill through the off- campus recruitment 2014."

HR replies- I will not be able to provide you any figure, what you might have been expecting. However, the requirement is high. It's totally decided based on how many student will be able to cross the cutoff level.

Question- The standard for the off-campus recruitment cutoff level is same as on-campus recruitment?

HR replies- TCS each year decides some standard before recruitment process starts. This year (2013-2014) we already had a cutoff level, so the off- campus recruitment selection will be done based on that.

Question- There will be any change in the selection process compared to this year on-campus recruitment? 

HR replies- No, it will be same as the on-campus recruitment drive for the session 2013-2014.

Question-  When TCS will start conducting its Online Aptitude Test for its off-campus recruitment drive?

HR replies- As the registration phase gets completed, then we will go for document verification and after that we will decide the actual schedule for the Online Aptitude Test. Even so, I can assure you, that the whole process will be completed very soon.

Question- What is the package for this off-campus recruitment 2014?

HR replies- Its same as on-campus recruitment for the session 2013-2014.

B.TECH/B.E -3.18 LPA 
MCA/M.TECH/M.E - 3.34 LPA

We were having some more questions with us, but HR was not able to give us more time for it. Hope that this will clear some of your doubts.

UPDATE (17/02/2014): TCS OFF-CAMPUS RECRUITMENT 2014 ONLINE APTITUDE TEST ON 8th and 9th March 2014.

    I m from narula institute kolkata...tcs campus took place in november 2013 in our college.if this offcampus is in june july then 6 months gap is there...n we r eligible..if the date of recruitment drive is announced its easier for us to decide v r eligible or not,..

      Right now, we cannot say anything positively as HR did not clearly mention anything about it. As we get any info about it, we will post it in interviewtime.in.

    I have heard that only 2014 batch is allowed.......why 2012/2013 are not......in this off campus session ?....Pls reply

      Yes, Only 2014 pass out batch.
      In our point of view, requirement is the main factor.TCS belief in on-campus recruitment. When it's come to be off-campus, they prefer the current pass out batch first.

    i have two years of gap after my 10th then i did my diploma but in registration form i was not mentioned that so is there any problem or if any solution plz tell me

      TCS takes Eligibility Criteria quite seriously. TCS allows maximum of 24 months gap in education. In your case, it is fine as you have two years of gap. However, you have not mentioned that while registration. Yes that may create problems for you. TCS clearly state in its Eligibility Criteria that "It is mandatory to declare the gaps/arrears/backlogs, if any, during your academic and/or work experience. Break in education should not be due to extended education.".
      Now, the solution. Tell the truth during the interview, take some valid document related to the reason of your year gap if you have any. Even an HR sometimes asks during an interview that all information provided in CV are valid or not. It's better to tell it before they ask you. TCS checks all documents at the time of joining.

    I am a 2013 graduate... and registered in TCS careers site... when will i get interview schedule .... whether TCS is taking 2013 freshers now or not... Please let me know....

      Its only for 2014 batch. We don't have any exact information about 2013 batch.
      If we get any info about 2013 batch recruitment, we will surely post it in interviewtime.in

    plz guyz let me knw 1 thing.....plzzzz
    i had registered to tcs campus portal
    2 times from different site
    coz for the first time i had entered my 10roll no. wrong (ssc roll no)
    n there is no provision to change it
    i had also generated the 2 hall tickets fr the apti test
    is there any chances that they may reject me in future for such inconvenience?

    mam i had registred for tcs on 22nd and submitt in time but i didnot get the hall ticket till now when iam logged in for the hall ticket it shows me that (login not allowed for your application) shall i know the reason pls

      Ok , there are many students who are facing the same problem. Try to call at TCS Helpline. If its showing login not allowed then there may be something wrong in your application from that you have submitted. Send them mail mentioning your DT number.
      Do the below step .
      Go to the link http://digialm.com/EForms/loginAction.do?subAction=ViewLoginPage&orgId=846&formId=1048 and enter DT and DOB.

    I have attended technical round on 12th of March in SRM Easwari College,Chennai.. They didnt mail us the results.. Have anyone got the results?? If No when they will announce it..

      No, Results are not declared till now. Once the interview process gets completed for all candidates , them after within 2 to 3 days. You can expect the results to be out by the end of this month.

    i need a clarification are the results of off -campus tcs all over india will be released once or region wise i hail from hyderabad i have attended interview on 15 th march

      You can expect the results to be out by the end of this month.We think that the result will be declared region wise, but there will be not much difference in timing with other regions.

      We don't have any exact news. But you can expect the result to be out by this week as the interview process had already been completed for all candidates. We think that the result will be declared region wise, but there will be not much difference in timing with other regions.

    hi,i have not received the confirmation mail from tcs on 26th.so anybody can tell me "IS THERE ANY HOPE FOR CONFIRMATION MAIL IN FUTURE" or "IS THE CONFIRMATION MAIL SENDED ON 26th OF MAY IS FINAL".
