Which of the following  value of “n” is the number 2⁷⁴ + 2²⁰⁵⁸ + 2²ⁿ is a perfect square?

A. 2011

B. 2012

C. 2100

D. 2100

Let, Start Solving the problem: 2⁷⁴+2²⁰⁵⁸+2²ⁿ= (2³⁷)²+ (2ⁿ)²+ 2²⁰⁵⁸

It is in the formula as (a+b)²=a²+b²+2*a*b

Therefore, 2*(2³⁷)*(2ⁿ)=2⁽³⁸⁺ⁿ⁾=2²⁰⁵⁸

38+n=2058

n=2020

Ans. 2020

Clearly, we are getting answer 2020, but 2020 is not in the option. So, this is a dummy question.

Ans. 88888883

Explanation: Let 44444444 = x

((x+1)*(2x-3)*(x-2)+(x-6))/x^2

=(x^2-x-2)(2x-3)+(x-6)/x^2

=(2x^3-2x^2-4x-3x^2+3x+6+x-6)/x^2

=(2x^3-5x^2)/x^2

= 2x-5= 2(44444444)-5 = 88888883

3. In this question, A^B means A raised to power B. If x*y^2*z < 0, then which  one of the following statements must also be true?

I.    xz < 0

II.   z < 0

III.  xyz < 0

And I only

Explanation: y^2 is a positive number, so definitely x or z should be negative for the product to

be a negative value. This means that xz always results in a negative value.

4. Aravind  can do  a work  in 24  days. Mani  can dig the same work in 36  days. Aravind, Mani and Hari can do a work together in 8 days. Hari alone can do the work in how many days?

Ans. 18 days

Explanation: 

A + M + H  = 1/8

1/24 + 1/36 + 1/x =1/8

5/72 + 1/x = 1/8

1/x=4/72

x= 18

(5)*. Two equilateral triangle of side 12cm are placed one on top another, such a 6 pointed star is formed if the six vertices lie on a circle what is the area of the circle not enclosed by the Star?

Ans. 68

7. In a triangle ABC, the lengths of the sides AB and AC are 17.5cm and 9cm. Let D be a point on the line segment BC such that AD is perpendicular to BC. If AD=3cm, then what is the radius (in cm) of the circle circumscribing the triangle?

Ans. 26.25

Explanation: AB = c=17.5,AC = b = 9.
Let Base = BC  = a, Height =  AD = 3;

Area of triangle ABC= abc/4R

We also know that area of triangle is 1/2 * base *height
Area of the triangle ABC = ½ (BC)(AD) = ½ (a)(3) = 3a/2 .....(1)

Now using the 1st formula, ABC= abc/4R and substituting the value of equ (1) 

We get, R = abc/4Δ = abc / 4(3a/2) = bc/6 = (17.5)(9)/6 = 26.25
